I thought you wanted me all the way down for pics? Thats where I went. I make a damn fine model, dont I? LOL

hahahaha....yea. I got skeeered. my tank went "boom". and there was a big cloud....

I am a weenie. they scared me here on SB. Now, I am a very active diver. Wildcard....you are a very, very active diver. The more scared I am the closer I want...your tank.

I prefer my buddy to glance back every few feet. I made leesa hold my hand.

make sure you bring that light again! I like the pic leesa posted. I know you got some of the electric banks...send em over and I will post them.

Trying to hold still in the engine room without stiring up all the junk is almost impossable. Maybe a couple of lights for background next time?

When did your tank go boom? I was right in front of you, went into the hole, waited for you then went looking and you were already back outside. I didn't hear anything?????

now that's a no no!

It's great seeing my pictures being discussed, but I think a note should be included to where it is linked from (not everybody clicks on Kevin's link).

As far as the above picture being a no no, could someone please elaborate? The whole wreck (the Sea Tiger) was at sinking barred off to keep divers from penetrating it. Most of those protections have been removed by curious divers and it is now easy to enter engine room and other areas. The cargo holds that the person in the picture enters are big and roomy so apart from a tight entry and depths in excess of 100' it is a very easy penetration. Maximum depth is just shy of 130' I believe.
The diver and myself are experienced wreck divers and when doing this dive we were using trimix to keep our heads clear. Apart from that we have the right training and equipment for these kind of dives.

When talking about no no's in the Sea Tiger I should offer the following safety advice ;) :
Do NOT enter the room underneath the bridge where I took the picture of the torch shining in darkness unless you are using trimix and have near perfect bouyancy control, trim, and fin techniques. That room is full of rotten wood, wires are hanging down from everywhere, and everything is covered in a thick layer of silt. The room is also rather tight making it very hard to turn around in without bumping into something. (That you should also have the right experience and education in wreck penetration and deep diving I assume everyone understand).

This picture give you an idea of what the room is like:

Stefan, I think Leesa used the word "no-no" light-heartededly. Lets be honest, you guys were penetrating the Sea Tiger long before any "proper training" took place. I have no problem with that whatsoever, just don't act like we should all be buying trimix to do the Sea Tiger all of a sudden.

Your pictures are great, and we were just enjoying them.

Good advice about the entanglement hazards...I think most people, myself and Leesa included can see that danger by looking in there.

Wildcard, you were the best....I liked the lighting in that first section so much. My "boom" was a thump against the steel hull and it resonated throughout in a very senorous tone...kinda cool, kind spooky. (it doesn't take much to spook me, it is a bit like a haunted house in there) I hope JB and I can find some good wrecks in Bali or PNG this year...of course Truk is looking good to him, since he loves history. wonder if PNG has wrecks...

Catherine, I thought you were serious about getting tech training with GUE. Changed your mind?

Like your new sig line :D...just some 113 or so more days :D

Leesa, what is happening in 113 days?
