Sea Lice in Cancun?

I'm heading to Cancun on memorial day with my fiancee and we have heard that Sea Lice could be a problem while we are there. I've read about this lotion called Safe Sea which supposedly repels the tiny jellyfish (sea lice).

Anyone have any experience with this stuff? My fiancee is freaked out by the idea of getting all itchy and splotchy after diving.

none so far! if i get stung i use andantol, that works fine but be warned, hot fresh water activates the irritation and night time is the worse.
the sea lice are only ever at the surface or max 3ft under so make your entry with a negative jacket and your set!
like i said, none so far!!
