Ickais, Funny how you noticed the scalloped blade. The SD-1 blade took me over 3 years to shape. Then it was tested for over 3 years with Military units. I must have made over 20 different blade designs, each trying to give the balance to the flexing zones. I chased around several problems but in the end I think it came out ok..I also have two smaller blades, SD-2 and SD-3. The SD-3 is good for helo work
well its kinda simple to spot when all youre shown is blades: it takes focus off the rest.
im kinda interested in marine biology and seeing how animals move through the water (i can watch marine animals for hours). this interest led me to your fins and once seeing their revolutionary yet natural designs i knew they make the cut.

Dr. Phil Nuytten - the senior editor of DIVER magazine and Emcee for this years 50th Annual NOGI Awards Gala-- is recognized as one of the pioneers of the diving industry worldwide. He invented and developed a patented rotary joint technology for use in the revolutionary

I used the SD1MTD on my technical diving course, and my instructor (one of the best in Spain) used the fins and it liked. (although he uses the Jet Fin ..) He told me that it had a great propulsion and it is well to do the frogkick, but lacked the detail of having the tip of the fin flat and slightly wider for use as a rudder. (according to their thinking)
My instructor thought that the Force Fin were useless for technical diving,(had never used Force Fin) but changed his mind when I lend him to used and tested my SD1
Finished my course I can say that the SD1 serve perfectly for technical diving, which makes me pretty happy because I can not dive with other fins than the Force Fin!
A fin for any purpose!

These seem to have the toughness of the Pro's, the material of the Tan Deltas, the adaptability of the Adjustable's, the sculpting of the Extra's and maybe the speed of the Excellerater's!
Your pictures and words have convinced me, I need a pair. Now if I can convince my wife that I need 3 pairs of FF. Maybe a new 20-20-20 program would help?
Boat diving in Destin, on Florida's Emerald Coast. Taking my FF Pro's and Adjustables. The guy at the Dive Shop had heard of Force Fins, Thursday he'll see some... Then to Texas to see my twin brother, hope to do some lake diving there and maybe in Arkansas. Hey, they have warm water down here! Staying at the RV park at Hurlburt Field, a Special Ops Command for the Air Force. Bet they know of Force Fins.

Yeah - I feel the same pain. But if I bought these I would need to explain having 4 pairs.
Now all I really need is someone who would like to buy a pair of XL Tan Delta Excellerating FFs - so I can buy a pair of SD1s.

I get that one too! Right up there with "how much dive gear do you need?" and "you can only wear one pair of fins". Got busted last weekend over a pair of Duck Feet someone had found in their father's attic.
In my case, it would be "what will you do with the other 5 pair?"
