I'm a Fish!
My dive shop gave me a Scubapro M50 second stage today, "here take it". Somebody turned it in and they can't really use it for anything.
They said those things are a real turd and a pain in the ass to work on. Is that true?
They gave it to me for the vane I need which is the same as my G250, I looked.
However, I aqua-sealed the vane stump on my G250 already, but I suppose I could dig it out?
But I want to know about this M50 and see if it's worth messing with.

It’s basically a plastic 109 (adjustable but not balanced)
I believe designed with cold water performance in mind

You can always keep it for parts (lever maybe)
Here finally some pics of a M50 for those who might be interested.........

If you plan to bin it I’d be interested in the rest of it

Mono is right.
It's basically a plastic 109 with Dive/Predive Switch and Micro Adjust......
A very fine breathing 2nd, if properly adjusted.
The best of the M-Series of SP, I would take it anytime......
The Service is much easier than the ones with the M5s or the M5 Polars.
Congrats for that find!
