I have the S-teks, but they are still in the box; I haven't used them yet. I have been playing with the SuperNovas and the Go Sport Gorillas. Due to the weather, I won't be diving for the next two to three months.

I believe that @lexvil can compare both, but he is on a dive trip now :)

Go Sport Gorilla
I can buy 2 pair Go Sport for the price of one pair of SuperNovas.

The Go Sport and the Go Sport Gorilla are the same price here, which is weird.
The above for 90% of my diving , if I require more 'mooph', it's time for The Mares Excite Pro.

I am not mostly frog kicking, I mostly flutter kick.
Switching to a frog kick and getting flat in the water might help with your air consumption, since there will be a glide phase after every kick. For a more or less neutral fin, the Deep Six Eddy fins are hard to beat.

I like my Eddie Fins and I am keeping them, had them in the pool testing camera set ups just a few days ago (and my toes hurt afterwards). But, anything the Eddy Flipper can do the GoSport Gorilla can do equally or better and do it more comfortably and travel slightly lighter. The open toe, better heel pad and bungee strap just make the GoSport the winner for me. Okay, to be more specific, IMO, after extensive use of both, the Eddie does frog kick slightly better and the GoSport flutter kicks quite a bit better due to the pre-curved blade. However, again, IMO based on considerable use of both, it is the comfort of the GoSport that tilts the balance to it. Otherwise, they are pretty much equals as all around fins. For tech use I might sway to the Eddie due to the spring straps and the slightly better frog kick, they are an excellent fin, er, uh, flipper!

I wear size Large in both the Eddie Flipper and the GoSport. Blade area is generally sized to the foot pocket size. My wife never had any problem keeping up with her size Small GoSports:

Wow, your pricing is weird. In my region, EMEA, the Go Sport is 140 Euros, and the Go Sport Gorilla is 155 Euros. The S-Tek and SuperNova are 235 Euros. (These are the latest prices I have. They may have changed them recently, but I don't know)

I love my GoSport (boot fit) fins, but found for big blue water / strong current I want more power - so will probably upgrade to the Supernovas. Interestingly, these have interchangeable foot pockets for open (boot fit) or closed foot, and would be my recommendation to OP

You need bright colors in your life my friend :P

How worth while is it for me to try to change how I fin?

I don't frog kick, but I know it is more efficient. But I don't know if I will ever has as much power frog kicking as I have flutter kicking now, so I don't know if it matters or helps. I don't need 'more efficient' unless I am moving enough to increase my rate of breathing.

Similarly, I tend to turn with my arms, especially for tight turns. I know turning with my fins is more efficient, but probably not enough to increase my dive time.

I want to do things the right way, but I am also a recreational diver not a commercial diver, dive instructor or Navy Seal. With over 100 dives, so it might be hard to change what I do, and it might not help.

If I do decide to improve how I fin, does this factor into my choice of fins?
