LDS said my MK10 G250/G200 can't be serviced with a kit and that Scubapro says the poppets and other parts have to be changed. I haven't read that anywhere.
This is a shop that used to be a Scubapro dealer but only carries Aqualung now.

A G250 regular service kit may not be enough if the regulator hasn't at some time been upgraded to the current s-wing poppet. You can get the parts to do that....

been too long since I bought a kit...

you may be able to get an S-wing poppet, and use a regular service kit...

Thanks, I'm taking it to a Scubapro dealer.

Now this is a far better idea than taking it to a scubapor dealer!

A regular G250 kit is not enough:

The more recent service kits come with a new poppet. The poppet spring and balanced chamber will have to be replaced, each no more than couple of dollars. Well worth the cost to switch it over. If indeed the poppet is the older one it means this reg has not been serviced in a long time.

I’ve converted several G250s and G200s to the newer poppet system, so it can be done.
