Ok this is a newbie question but, does scubapro make 300 bar Din regulators or are all scubapro regulators yoke and you use an adapter for din? I was just wondering cause I know alot of cave and DIR guys use scubapro but they like din cause of the chance of hitting the connection in an overhead enviroment. However, the use of an adapter sounds very non DIR cause of possible failure point. How crazy am I?

not crazy at all. all scubapro first stages are available as din and/or can be converted from yoke to din. convervion is NOT an adaptor, yoke is removed DIN is mounted same as if it was shipped from the factory as DIN.

Worth noting that Scubapro also produces a 200 bar, 5 thread DIN connector...unless that is what you want, stipulate the 300 bar, 7 thread DIN to avoid later disappointment.

I've got two ScubaPro yoke and three DIN first stages. Four are the same model (Mk10). Love 'em.

The 300 BAR DIN connection is standard, and I am not even sure you could get a 200 BAR DIN kit at present from Scubapro.

Scubapro uses the same DIN kit for all it's first stages - except the MK 5 which uses a different DIN retainer - and this is a 300 BAR DIN connection.
