New to trying to attend a SB group trip and have a few questions…..once registration opens up, it’s understood an email is sent to scubaboard@maduro.com with the required information. After that point,
  1. How does actual booking & deposit occur? (e.g., who reaches out? Via phone or email?)
  2. Do these events generally fill up first day? If yes, is the ‘time stamp’ on the email the deciding factor on who is approved?
  3. Trip insurance is ‘strongly recommended’ is that also offered via whomever does the actual booking for the resort? i.e., Maduro dive can provide an online quote link for primary trip and travel protection doesprimary trip” = the resort/dive package or what does “primary trip and travel protection” include? (Not worried about flights we always make sure they are refundable or eligible for future flight credit at a minimum…and travel 2-4x/year so never have an issue using it.)
Thank you!

Question answers
1. Maduro will reach out to you in the order emails come in for deposits.
2. That has happened and that is why the time stamp is used.
3, Maduro offers trip insurance and airfare quotes or you can use whoever you choose.

The reason we encourage Crew Members to get insurance is because you never know what life may throw at you.
