ScubaBoard Get Together On Oahu

I have been diving for 5+ years and am advanced open water and would like a little more info about this trip. I will have a beginner with me on the island but I don't think that he would want to go on this trip. If there are any openings, please let me know.

Lets start planning!

I've been talking to a couple of locals and there is some interest in having a ScubaBoard Get Together.

I can't join on the weekend so how does September 5th sound? Which is a Monday, but it is also Labor Day. We could do a potluck and you folks with businesses, so you can join us, can offer this day to your dive guests too. Make a day of it, maybe even include a night dive.

Any suggestions where? Sharks Cove? ideas in general?

Who is bringing what:

Beverages:
Bottle Water - 2 Tray - Justleesa & Turtleguy
Canned Drinks - 1 Tray - Chepar

Salads:
Cole Slaw - Justleesa & Turtleguy
Potato Salad - mohneys1 & mjcoussens

Snacks:
Cake - Justleesa & Turtleguy
Chips - Chepar

Homemade pico de gallo w/ chips - ch0ppersrule
Watermelon - Sea Nmf

Food stuff:
Hot Dogs with buns (condiments too) - 5 packs each - Justleesa & Turtleguy
Rice & Chicken - Kidspot
Corn on the Cob - Sea Nmf

Coolers:
2-3 coolers with ice- Justleesa & Turtleguy

Grill:
Grill - onfloat

Plates, forks, knives, napkins:

Paper plates - Justleesa & Turtleguy

Extras (i.e. radio, torches etc.):

10X10 canopy and some camping chairs - ch0ppersrule

I might be able to get one of those tent roof things...I'll check and repost.

Hey Carl ...bring some food or snacks or forks or napkins - what ever - with and we all go diving together. I am guessing in groups of different sizes.

Right now it is looking like we will be diving the trench which is said to be a site for beginners and advanced divers alike.

The Trench is on the North Shore and I'll be posting a map ( or link to mapquest) for visitors.

You need to have your own gear, weights and tanks. If not, let me know and I'll see what I can organize.

Your friend is welcome to come and just hang out if he doesn't wish to dive.

How many dives would you like to do?? I'll make some calls.

Bring him along, if he likes...it is a nice beach park and there will be plenty of people and fun.

Just wanted to say Hi, Aloha, Previet, sehr wous, bon jous um OK see the countdown hopefully I will be there long enough to do some dives wth Y'all. Tropic Lightning is calling. Maybe I will get the Dive det. at Shafter but I doubt it. See ya in 100+
