Hello all,

I have a gently used scuba pro drysuit that I take a few times to the local freshwater quarry (Lake Phoenix, Va) a year.

The stitching is starting to pull out around the wrists. I have trimmed it, but I dove it and more is coming out.

Is this something where I should put some glue like aquaseal on it? Or is there some better solution? Will that harm ability to repair it somehow in the future?

Overall the drysuit is pretty cool and checks most of my boxes, this is the only major shortcoming I can think of?

Any advice appreciated!

It’s hard to say without seeing it in-person. However, that appears to be a somewhat superficial seam on a cuff that won’t affect the functionality of the suit. You can sew it or glue it, whatever you prefer. It shouldn’t really matter which.
