She is alive and well !

Name some things that don't go together:

Oil & Water ~ Gasoline & Fire ~ Jenny & 7mm Wetsuit

Jenny's Quote of the day "Guys, I can't move in this"

Jenny made 2 dives into the depths of Lake Erie showing no fear what so ever, and throwing her carefree clear water diving days into the wind.

She endured 44 degree water temps at 107 feet for 21 minutes, visited her first freighter shipwreck, and paid her respects to the crew of 18 that perished in a Great Lakes storm in 1893.

Not feeling complete, she went on to dive her second Great Lakes wreck that sank in 1912, at a depth of 60 feet and 53 degrees, and truly earned her Great Lakes Gorilla title by diving in viz less then 10 feet.

On this dive she utilized her underwater scooter to conserve air, not having to fin at all until her scooter started to putter out.

So hats off to the newest Conch Diver/Great Lakes Gorilla, and no you don't get a c-card for it, but here's your Great Lakes Trophy

It's all we could afford :D

Hold on, Jenny was in water under 60 degrees? This is fahrenheit correct? Sounds like a great time.

Joe

So her air consumption can be brought down by some stresses, we have found her weakness

Maybe i'll try to get up there next year...

Should'a seen her face when we told her " 23 lbs. of weight" plus her 4 lb. plate to sink her
SHOCK2.gif

She usually uses 6 lbs. total :D

Huh??????

27 pounds (total) in FreshWater?

Gads, you'd be digging me outta the mud, in my 7mm or my drysuit!

(and fwiw, I know that I use more weight than she does)

:11:

oh, we'll never hear the end of it now...

"you guys are wearing WETSUITS in 72-degree wate? why... i only usied
7 mil in 44 degree water, and i did just fine!"

as for me, a special place of mocking is reserved:

"you're wearing a DRYSUIT in 72-degree water? why... i used to dive where
polar bears did not thread, and i did it in a wetsuit..."

and so on...

thanks guys... really...
