I was referring to his skipping out on his jail sentence not being an act of cowardice, I made no connection whatsoever between the actual crime and what it says about the guys character.
Nothing to do with cowardice.
Perhaps "cowering scumbag" instead? He still needs to be caught so he can answer for his crime(s).
Or maybe someone will bump into him at the grocery store and start pelting him with canned veggies until he loses consciousness...
