Scott Shugar, slate.com columnist, dies in scuba accident

Apparantly, he was diving around LA somewhere. At the risk of exposing my morbid curiosity, anyone know of further details? He was apparantly an experienced diver.

I really liked reading his articles on slate. An obituary is on www.slate.com today.

Another source said the autopsy revealed medically related and he was diving solo.
