I have heard people like the boots from Scuba Force. I have always had an attached boot (Turbo Sole or Santi Flexsole). The idea of putting another boot on has never appealed to me and it is another thing to back or lose.

My only concern regarding attached boots is the tradeoff between ankle flexibility and robust construction. Forgetting to bring rock boots along seems like a non-issue to me, as in all the years and hundreds of dives I have done in wetsuits I have never forgotten my booties, so I don't see why I would forget them when drysuit diving.

Different boots have different levels of flexibility. The DUI Turbosole is a very flexible boot, the boots on my old Dive Rite 905 were rigid. If you are unsure - contact your local DS Repair Guy for options.
