I'd love to try the river. Let me know when you are going. I am in far East Valley, so it is practically up the road from me.

I also live in the East Valley. The river is 10 minutes from my house. I want to dive Blue point next week early in the morning. I am kayaking this weekend to find the hole. Let me know if anyone wants to dive.

Is this an interesting dive at the end of October. I have to be in Scottsdale for work and could go in the afternoon. Advice?

The river is running really fast right now. I want to lay in the hole and watch the grass carp. I will let you guys know what the current feels like after this weekend. I am going to jump off my kayak and swim into the hole to see if staying in one spot is doable.

Hey it looks like it's been almost two years since anyone has posted. Anyone up for diving the river soon?

To be honest, I have never even tubed it. Even when I had a cousin working there who would give me free passes I still never went.

I'm headed out there today. I'd like to go again soon though. Maybe next week, Tues\Wed. I'm just going to go check out the conditions today and see what I can find for dive spots. I'll be free diving it though.. not scuba.

Anybody take a scooter in there? Thought about having a little fun with my UV-18.
