Don't forget to open the valve on your tank BEFORE getting in the water.

Don't assume that just because the housing on the camera is closed that it isn't free from leaks. ALWAYS check for cat hair on the o-ring.

You guys have it all wrong...

The numer one rule of SCUBA diving is:

You have to look good doing it!

1. Don't hold your breath
2. Don't come up too fast

Don't mess with ANY fish (and marine life in general), regardless whether they're bigger or smaller. I think it's important to keep in mind that we're guests underwater and everything we see while diving has a right to be there, except us.

Don't drink mega doses of caffine. that makes it hard for your buddy to keep up with you and makes for a very cranky dive buddy.

Don't forget to COMPLETELY close the housing on your camera!

35mm cameras take better pictures when you remember to load the film in the camera ..... digital cameras work better with new batteries vs dead ones left over from last year

Make sure the dive charter is roundtrip ....... don't buy a oneway ticket and think you can swim back to shore
