Gee, I could complain about the way "my" dive park at Casino Point is dirtied up routinely by dive classes, but I don't. It's there for all of us to enjoy, and it is good to see instructors teaching new divers.
If I observe something wrong with the way an instructor or members of their class operate, I try to bring it to their attention by inobtrusively calling them aside to talk. If I make a comment in earshot of others, I try to be as polite as possible... unless the instructor responds rudely (as has been the case on a few occasions, but very few).
There are some instructors that don't deserve to be. Fortunately they are in the minority (at least at most shops). Many are there to share their enjoyment of diving with new divers.
I wonder why this other instructor/owner felt she could use a shelter set up by a competitor, and exclude your LDS' students? Did your LDS set it up for general use or specifically for their classes? We have a similar situation here where dive classes occasionally use drop-down buoys and ropes that were set up for the three shops on Catalina. Generally it isn't a problem unless one of the shops needs to use their own buoy and line. Most instructors bring their own to the Park.
