Hi, i am taking 6 months off next Jan to do a round the world dive trip. Trying to figure out a blog that will let me keep in touch with friends and also enable some simple promotion space for anyone that helps me along the way.

Planning to do Brazil, Galapgos,Honduras, around Tahiti, Solomon Islands, Fiji, Barrier Reef, Yap, Sipadan/Mabul, Sulawesi, Andaman Islands, Oman, Zanzibar, Mozambique and South Africa, maybe tag the red sea on at the end.

Will post a link to my Blog when i get it going.I will be updating my blog and asking for hints and tips as i progress and cock-ups occur so look forward to sharing the trip with all.

Happy bubbles everyone.

Wow, sounds like an amazing trip. Looking forward to reading your blog. Are you going with a group?

I hate you !:D
:rofl3:

Howdy from Texas and welcome to SB!

I don't know anything about blogs. I post on MySpace some, but I don't know. I do hope you'll start a trip report thread on General Travel and add your blog entires to it as you go.

If you haven't yet, click Forums above and start going thru the list - looking for those of interest to you, especially your local dive club. Click the link in my Sig below to PM me if I can help you around here..

Welcome to SB. Good to have you with us. You will find plenty of dive buddies here. This is a great resource.
What an excellent way to spend 6 months.

Hi Peeps, thanks for the big welcome.
I have set up a blog called www.dreamdivetrip.com which i am be keeping up to date with so friends and fellow divers can throw useful tips in, or just enjoy the show as i will be posting my best photo's on there as i go along.

I'ts quite a logistics exercise and there will be a few hiccups i am sure but you've gotta do what you've gotta do.

The whole itinerary is on the site, still looking for specififc tips so if you get a moment please take a look.

Happy thanksgiving to those it is relevant to.
