I just did the Rocks today and viz was about 3ft at best. Not as much life as usual either. It turned out to be an irritating day. First my boat dies about a mile off the boat ramp, so I turn around and limp it back to shore. After getting in on the trailer we decide to go ahead and try to make a beach dive of it. Sometime while we were on the bottom, my dive flag decides to go explore further out into the ocean and never returns. Once back on shore and putting our gear in the truck, I notice my dive knife fell out of the sheath. So, the rocks claimed my flag and my knife today. If anybody finds either, I would appreciate their safe return. I'm sure I could arrange some beer or liquor of some sort as a small token of my appreciation. Hopefully tomorrow goes a little better for you all. GOOD LUCK and ENJOY!!!

Yeah we can do that. I will bring your tank with me too Take 275 south across the Skyway. When you get to the 41 exit go south into town. When you get to state road 64 you will head west. Take it all the way to the island. When you get on the island you will go through the red light to he next street. That is gulf drive. Make a left and head south. The road will curve to he left. Just before that curve is he parking area and beach access. If you need I will shoot you a PM with my number so you can call if you need help. What time are planning to be there?

Sure just give me a time. I am up early anyway. Sending PM in a minute.

Do me a favor and tell all those crabs out at Anna Maria they don't have long :coffin:

Well I'm back after a 1tank dive at the spanish rocks and it is not to bad, vis was 3' at best, alot of bait fish and a few sheepshead, a almost big enough hog fish, an almost big enough lobster (yes lobster I say) and a nice flounder (Missd should have been there) that is a really cool dive I wish I had my light with me and a bag, there are a lot of ledges for lobster to hide under.
I should have went with my first plan to take the boat out becouse crossing the skyway all I could see the was FLAT SEA'S I could have made it atleast 5 miles out before it got rough.
