I know divers have taken their Prism II to 140 metres. Can you give me the dive plan? And I think you already answered your last question.

I took the Choptima to 500’
No; I won’t give a dive plan, lol

I have tried a few units. I currently own 5 Optimas, a sentinel, and an inspiration.
I like the Optima, it is solid, easy to repair when I break it and the owner/designer is awesome to deal with.
I like simple mccrs with leaky valves, there is something to be said for simple. But the revo isn't even on my list as one I would choose to dive. Floods happen, some weeks they happen more often than they should. The fact that a flood isn't even an issue with the Optima is priceless to me.
The horizontal scrubber is a non issue, it packs easily and the cartridges are awesome on livaboards.

Will Goodman dived his JJCCR to nearly 300 metres.
That’s quite a feat. The JJ breathes like crap on the surface :)

I’m certed on the JJ. I actually like that CCR, but I’m a WOB snob.

My mentors have dived to those depths on OC. It's OK, I have my own dive plan to that depth.

My mentor has dived down 200 metres using OC back mounted doubles with 2 stages under each arm, and 3 stages on a leash on both sides of the hip D-ring. 12 bottles in total.

I’d make the mounting system for the bottles easier. Lamar fixed the mounting system for the head. You don’t need to grow a third arm now.
On the Choptima, I’d have a hard attachment to clip in a scooter.

Ok cool. So overall these sound like fairly small issues. Re the bottles, have you encountered any issues with travel and being able to get tanks at the target destination (given they're probably not the usual 3L standard tanks)?

I dive around the world, and the CCR instructors/divers I have met don't recommend Optima.

Are we competing? Lol
I once dove to a depth of 60’ 300’ in the air in a water tower in New Mexico. So neener neener, lol. I also had sex on the four corners monument. That’s right, sex, WITH A GIRL!, in four states at once!

Oh yeah?
My mentor rode a narwhal to the moon.

I'm not sure where this is heading, but it sounded like the start of a pissing contest.

Well there you go....
Lol, I too dive around the world and the most popular rebreather we’re seeing right now is the Optima. But, your people around the world probably know better than my people around the world :) lol
