How about:

Florida Springs ...
Florida non-springs ...

:D

Ok , that's won't fly ... :no

Jeano Beano

Well Darlin', I'm not thrilled with it, but it makes more sense than North/South.

How about:

  • Broward County beach divers
  • Everybody else
:rofl3:

I like that Jeano, I agree that makes more sense than anything I have heard, expecially north and south. Could be Florida Salty Water and Florida Freshy Water also. Then no one has to figure out a dividing line.

Jut go to noaa. they already have it set-up geographically. Look under marine zones. http://www.srh.noaa.gov/tbw/html/tbw...ineWeather.htm
As for NOAA they have 6 marine zones, I don't think they will add forums, they just did away with the Central Florida forum. Not a bad idea however.

All right, all right, since we are busy creating Florida subforums, I will open my mouth. Look for my thread.

We don't know it is gone for good. Heck we don't know a thing. All I know is there is a heck of a lot of complaining before we have even seen the result. Granted, and I hope I am not shot for this, we have our mods that don't do too awful much and are quite unhelpful. That said, we have some good ones as well and speaking just for El, he has done a heck of a lot lately. Some really great stuff. Can a person not be trusted, if only for their upstanding history, for just a moment in time? He told us he is working through it and that it was going to take some time yet we have only moaned. I don't get it :ne_nau: Can we not give him just a couple of days w/o making things worse?

Darlin', I missed that part. I saw where he got input before restructuring the Caribbean forum in an attempt to make that work well. Here, I've just seen where we've been told how it will be. I hope I simply missed the part where he's working to fix this mess.

so we would call the sub-forums: "green", "lighter green", "a different green", "blue" "orange" and "brown" ?

...i'm happy i wouldn't be in the "Charleston Pink" sub-forum....luckily they aren't in Floirda, so they are safe for the time being.....:mooner:

:chair: you, my friend, will purposely now be "pretty in pink". :light:
:D

I did think the map was good at showing how we are geographically different - combine that with a county map and Voila. Gives a good start at where to divide, that is all, just trying to be helpful. :) Heck, now that everyone has joined multiple clubs, we are just one big jambalaya again.
