I didn't like how flimsy the corrugated hose felt without the pull dump wire, so after a few dives I replaced it with some cord. The cord also works as a strain relief so there is never any significant pulling force on the zip ties that hold the corrugated hose in place on each end.StSomewhere:Why would you replace it with another pull dump? Why not just an elbow?
Charlie99:If I were going to go to the hassle of getting an elbow, I'd probably also get rid of the inflator. Inflators, like pull dumps, are just another failure point that doesn't really have to be there.
