I’m curious about what divers in other countries think.

I’m looking for detailed instructions on how to install a Si Tech valve port. Do you know how to do it?

In any event, just close the shoulder dump all the way and put a separate low profile dump in the wrist, if you don’t like it, take it out and seal it up and you still have the shoulder valve.
If you you get comfortable, take the shoulder valve out.
Do you know a good way to seal the hole if I want to remove the shoulder dump valve and the port?
My drysuit is a D7X NyloTech.

I would imagine a Aquaseal, but I don’t know for sure.
See if the manufacture has a suit repair kit or if they can send you some material, cut it to the side you need, glue it and go diving.

Really? Are you?
You comment quoted above is inconsistent with your comment quoted here below:

I’m totally convinced the cuff dump is the best spot!

How can you be "totally convinced" and still need "detailed instructions" on how to make the modification in your suit you are looking to make?:

I’ll contact the manufacturer.
Thanks a lot.
I sent that suit in the photo back to the manufacturer when I had the inlet valve moved to the middle of the chest. The same with zip, neck seal, boots replacements.

Got it.
Thank you!

I have both (sitech) on my new Seaskin suit - Reason I got the cuff dump is because I had one the Japanese (WorldDive) suit I was using a few years back over here and liked it.
I thought it might come in handy for what I do know which is shoot video underwater. I was thinking of the different positions I shoot in with a camera in both hands, and thought it might be nice.

Well, I've only just got back in the water with the suit and frankly, it's not really usuable due to its size, as it's very slow to dump.
It's this cuff dump valve here On/Off Dump Valve - Dump/Pee Valves - Products - SI-TECH
So spring loaded, on/off function.
So far the shoulder dump works fine (though I find myself having to move the arm up - much more than I remembered - to dump when the suit is near empty.

But as i've said, these are first impressions with a new suit, after a nearly 4 month diving hiatus, and and quite a few years not diving dry, so I'll confirm later on.

And moving a shoulder dump to the cuff would be a totally different story.
