Here's one of my recent columns about Pleuroncodes planipes (aka pelagic red "crabs, tuna crabs). These are not true crabs (Brachyurans) but are in the Anomura and therefore relatives of the squat lobster and hermit crabs. I love that one dimwit reporter's headline in San Diego was something to the effect of "Baby Lobster Commit Suicide on Beach." Sad the state of science education here.
