It is sad to see the tired, old, snarky attack on people who post more than they dive. I could sit at a computer and rattle off a dozen posts in an hour or so if I wanted. It would take a lot longer to do that many dives. The implication that people who write more posts than their number of dives must necessarily be poor and uninformed divers is sophomoric at best.
John, are you going to help get this to 100 pages as well!? Thanks Man!

From September 25th (when I started the thread) till now, November 29th—I have logged 46 dives without a pony bottle. Where are you guys/gals at?
Some have logged a fair number of dives with one. You're in a twin-set. Others are in a single tank plus pony, an equally valid configuration for recreational trolling.

You last comment, well this whole thread has been one massive troll.

I have to say I've never seen such a long discussion thread to such obvious trolling.

Well played!

Folks on here typically post more than they dive

So why are you here and why do you post on SB soliciting input and a discussion (perhaps you wanted it to be a monologue for you to give the chance for your fingers to do the typing faster than your ability to think?)

"If a naysayer thinks your equipment choice is unnecessary, let them know that the difference between a fatal accident and an embarrassing incident could come down to a breath or two. Any redundancy is better than none." Jill Heinerth, Alert Diver, Third/Fourth Quarter 2021, page 97.
Last month I had the opp to listen to, then talk with Jill Heinerth; at a lecture she did at the University of Victoria. Amazing woman, full stop, period.

Wait a min ? Are you saying Hartattack is diving twins? Ya, no pony for twins, but most of the rest of the non GUE world are diving singles, so ya. Pony is a good thing to have. I even joined a GUE "casual" drop in once. The guys were pretty happy to see that I had, at least redundant air.

They cut her full quote.

Folks on here typically post more than they dive, and I'm trying to get this thread to 100 pages for a book I'm writing.
Wait, you're back? Weren't you disciplined enough? 🤦‍♀️

One dive takes 8 hours or more to achieve (plus setting up the night before).

Posting this took seconds.
