Thank you.
For a guy who dives 50/70, and is testing 60/70 for myself, how often do you actually surface from a tech dive with a GF99 above 80?
If I have to, conservative resetting on-the-fly of the Surfacing GF to 70 or 60, in order to extend the O2 deco profile (especially after consecutive dive days of mandatory decompression dives) -or will just do at least 30 to 50% more than the Petrel’s prescribed O2 stop time.

The downside of that though, your O2 CNS Level OxTox Tracking on the Petrel post-dive goes through the roof (250 to 300 and above).

Thank you.

You weren't asking me but at 56yo my answer is never by choice

@SpaceX Aquanaut
Thanks, I thought it was UTD. Someone pointed this out but what you are saying isn’t the UTD min deco ascent. Your first stop is at half depth.

But whatever your ascent strategy, you have to do the rock bottom calc and size your contingent gas appropriately. I don’t think anyone is arguing that.

Much respect and thanks to LAFD and alll of the emergency personnel out there.

Go Birds!
