Requirement in Queensland, the state in which the GBR is located. Can sometimes get away with it rolled up in a thigh pocket, but rarely on cattle boats in my experience.

I never had to carry a snorkel (not even in a pocket) anywhere in the world including Queensland. Granted that Spoilsport and / or Yongala dive probably do not qualify as cattle boats.

He will show up again, as he has done many times before. Heck, he could be monitoring this thread with another account. He can't possibly ignore what's happening here after he made his shiit party and grand finale.

It always amazes me the bitter reactions, savage insults, vicious arguments, herd mentality and utter chaos he creates with his crazy clickbait threads. He's actually a very nice guy.

So, collectively (herd mentality in your words) we all pretty much saw it for what it was, you were about the only person defending him on the thread, but amazingly, after the curtains have been pulled open, you are STILL defending him.

Nobody is so bad that they can not serve as a good example. Soloist obviously recognized this trait in Li-er and was able to exploit it for our collective entertainment.

One of the first threads I read when I joined was the one about "extensive Spiegel Grove penetration" or something like that. Apparently that was started by yet another incarnation of this guy, who, tellingly, also spelled it "DECO" in that thread.

Soloist and I spent a week several years ago diving with a group that included Steve. We had a great time and would do it again. IRL he’s “fairly normal” and a good guy with a good sense of humor. He does have a strong personality and loves attention (as does most of us) but I know that if I had a problem or needed something he would be right there to help.

I would be very surprised if that wasn’t his rig and how he dives.
