I use Citric Acid as a 10% w/v solution in my ultrasonic, with 0.5% CAPB as a surfactant.
Concentrations of 25% at 60°C can be used to passivate SS.
I find 10% CA is a little less aggressive than phosphoric acid (though it may have been my concentrations of 4-8%), and so is more tolerant of longer U/S run times (e.g., 5-10 min vs 3 min).

Although I presume you already know, asking about Blue Gold is "apples and oranges" when discussing acid cleansers.
BG is an alkaline degreaser for oxygen cleaning that is very popular and very effective. A great choice.
My current choice is Extreme Simple Green (not Crystal), because it's also specifically indicated for oxygen cleaning and is locally available at Home Depot by special order.
