I'm sadistic enough to think that tech 1 in a tropical place would be a "fun" vacation.

Easily done if it is the in the Caribbean. Off-peak frequent flyer tickets are like 25-35k roundtrip, I've checked. I have enough miles to get the whole team there.

I actually priced this out a while back, if you can get there on frequent flyer miles, it turns out to be about ~$500 extra per person for instructor costs, then you have to do class costs and lodging. My dream is to rent a fat house somewhere like Bonaire, fly in as a group, dive for a couple days together to get used to things, do tech 1 and get through it.

Dive Thursday, Friday or both? I'll also be on the Sea Fox on Saturday with Andy and Michelle from Jo's wreck class so I can laugh at Andy during his first doubles dive. Should be fun
