Lowest common denominator? Come on now...if they can't do the skills, they can't get the card and should stick to diving below 30' or so where they can liftbag themselves and their 50 lb weight belt to the surface because they obviously lack basic diving skills.

This is an unproductive argument to have and I have better things to do.

I'm sorry, but if one is so incompetent as to not be able to change their profile from stopping for 5 minutes at 15 ft to stopping every 10 ft from 50 ft up, they should not be in the water at all, or at least not anywhere near the limits of a CESA.

Soggy:
Ahh...you're using it as a pony bottle.

Nope, a deco bottle - just in case. My Suunto would not be happy with a 30 min. BT. *waits for lecture on computers*

JeffG:
or that your posts are not making any sense.

I will explain how quoting works for JeffG and a couple of others here. You quote what another post says so you can reference it in your own post. The poster intends for you to read what they quote from another post as part of the message so you know what they are talking about or referring to.

If you had read what I quoted as part of the proper post, you would have noticed that Do it Easy had referenced me, and I was thus answering him. It is really not that hard a concept to follow.

Why don't you argue that in the general scuba forum? I get the feeling that Floater ran to the mothership to get a bigger gun.

DIVE RUN TIME: 82 minutes.
CNS Total: 35.4%

This is about the best profile I could come up with. I used the WKPP model in zplan, but if you used the pyle model then the run time comes out the same.

Here is a dive based on the vpm model from hlplanner

Ok, change it to a dive that would make your Suunto happy. 25 mins?

It's a pony bottle if it's a "just in case bottle." That is the definition of a pony bottle.

TheRedHead:

Ok...you start the thread. I am completely willing to make that statement in any forum you want me to.

Thanks for your help. I wouldn't of been able to understanding quoting if it wasn't for you. <snicker>

Much easier to talk about quoting than anything of substance too. Safer for you.
