Ok wiseguy... I know they are quick... but not like touch it and it will come apart... especially under pressure. I want to know if anyone has experienced a total failure, since they areso often poo pooed as failure points. I mean I've seen regular hoses leak a little because of bad o rings...

"That failure isn't good enough. I want a total, explosive, come apart type failure or it doesn't count".

LOL, explosive failure or it doesn't count!

I wouldn't be too worried about a little leak that could happen on any QD, or any fitting for that matter. I don't see that as that big of a deal over any other similar failure that could occur.

Nah, its not a huge deal. But why even have to worry about it if you don't have to? I try not to take unnecessary things with me while diving.

Yeah. A few bubbles is not failure. I wouldn't abort a dive for a few bubbles... Hoses fail all the time if we count that.

Remember. Not every dive is a 3000 foot cave penetration.
