I have an older model Sherwood Magnum II reg set. The first stage has an air bleed valve that continually releases air when in use.
A LDS told me that the constant flow of air through this valve keeps the internal parts free of moisture and therefore the first stage will not freeze at cold temperature. Is this reg safe for diving at temperatures below freezing?
Are there any other advantages or disadvantages with this model?
