Pumpkin Carving Dive at Gilboa Oct 28, 2006

sh0ppers rule and sea nmf said the shore dive we did was a bummer- and I was thrilled with it!

Yeah, some of the people I've been diving with in Florida say "man, that viz was bad" and "there weren't any fish" and I say "are you kidding me???"

Hopefully My wife and I will be able to go that weekend. We just moved to Middletown from Kansas and we are looking forward to meeting some new people. The only issue may be my job. I will be working a 24 hour shift and may be a little tired on saturday. But regardless we will try to be there.

I am going to check and see if I can trade a shift with someone so that I won't be so tired. How are you going to identify who you are so that we know who to look for? It will be nice to get in the water again. It has been about a month since I last dove and I need to get some water relief.

Look for the white tents with the halloween decorations and a gray Chevy HHR with a stripe package that says "Wicked" and has a shark on each rear quarter panel. We're pretty hard to miss. I'll probably have my white rabbit ears on while on the surface or the pink rabbit hat-depending on my mood. I have a hood with ears on it that I wear with my drysuit, I'm pretty easy to pick out of a crowd :biggrin:

Can't you just say "look for the loud group at the end of the drive... the ones laughing hysterically"? I've never been to a M&G or any other SB get together... but I imagine that's a pretty accurate picture.

You could also say, "we'll be the wierd-looking ones." But on Halloween that might not be such a giveaway (ha ha ha). Then again, maybe I'm the only wierd looking one...

I wonder if it would make a good mix gas for diving?
