Around me, a 6351 tank is almost impossible to get a VIP for & almost impossible to get filled if you do find someone that will put a sticker on it after it gets a fresh hydro stamp. I pay about $10 for them. I then cut them up & use them for aluminum stock when making things on my lathe or mill. I am not looking for any more at this time.

Around me the going rates for in-hydro modern 80 cf aluminum tanks on Craig's list are -
Shiny with nice valve - $100
Beaten up looking with good valve - $75
Beaten up with older valve - $50-70
Some guys ask for a bit more, but that is what I see them sell for.

Out of hydro tanks - often sit without selling for months.

I just found some steel 120 tanks with new hydro for $150 each

Hydros with VIP & fill cost $30-40 per tank depending on where you go in my area. If you go straight to a hydro facility & don't get the VIP or fill, it costs less
