Prescription Lenses for Mares X-Vision?

Hiya!

Just got a Mares X-Vision thinking I could use contact lenses... However, realise that contacts are not for me though. Have been told that the X-Vision does not have prescription lenses here in Singapore!

Would really appreciate some help on how i can get hold of these prescription lenses. It's a great mask and fits me perfectly.... will be a waste if I've to abandon it...

Well, I don't know if you want to send your mask all the way to the states, but www.prescriptiondivemasks.com can fit prescription lenses for an X-vision. I think they glue lenses to the mask.

Call around to local optometrists because they should be able to order/make a custom lens that will fit your mask.

Thanks for the replies so far. I was hoping to get those ready made prescription lenses that can replace the existing normal lenses of the mask. Apparently Mares sells them but the local distributor doesn't bring them into Singapore. Thought it would be more cost effective to buy a ready cut one as opposed to getting the optometrist here to do it. However will explore your suggestion bubbleslan.
