That's the cool thing about improving skills . . . it improves one's DIVING, no matter what kind of diving it is. I had fun hovering over the corals and what-not in the BVI, because I could stay still.

Off topic, it looks as though Peter and I will be in Southern California in December, but not to dive . . . still hope to get together and at least have dinner with some of you guys.

WOW!

Hey DryHandedBlueDryGlovedGuruChica,

You recaptured the Reef Check Experiance with a passion. Amazing report! Thank you.

I highly recommend this class to everyone! There is so much involved, and when you hear that you have passed, it all is so worth it. I, for one, of many, am so proud to be the first to go thru this extraordinary training program, and I am looking forward to applying these skills, in the very near future.

By the way, Welcome to ScubaBoard Dana!

Rick

Great report. I supplied REEF with some images to use in their training. I think this class is a great idea for divers. In fact, if I had my own certification agency I'd require something similar for divers... if not at the OW level at the AOW. Real knowledge of the marine life in one's area should be a requirement IMHO. Kudos to REEF.

My buddy, jmdiver, and I are scheduled for the July session and are vry excited to participate in the program. Thanks for the report Claudette! I'm not on Scubaboard very often and this was the first time I'd seen it.

Looks like I'll be leaving my u/w camera rig at home as I doubt there will be much free time to use it!

Cheers!

Robert

Hi All,
Is anyone else going to the July Santa Barbara class besides Robert & I.

Happy Diving

Great report Claudette, but have you found those "benefits" yet? See ya during the Wrinkles Dive... that is if the vis is decent!

Thanks for the kind words, Bill. I do appreciate it. It was a dynamic start to a big project.

I'm glad to hear you'll be Home-in-paradise for the July 8-9 Wrinkles weekend in Avalon.

Hoping to see you above and below sea level.

Claudette
