Possible Way to save between Miami and Brac/GC

Just met friends who live work here in GC (EE) and are off to Miami on holiday. We met for breakkie at the GTYC which was great. They were saying what a great airfare they got especially on the return. They are flying Miami, Cayman Brac, GC. I had no idea Cayman Airways flew directly between Miami and The Brac. Maybe for those ending up on The Brac it might be a savings to get cheap flights to/from Miami and fly direct. The days are limited, but if it works it works and I bet Customs and Immigration is a breeze! Even for those coming to GC, if the flights are cheap enough why not. You might not deplane so don't know how the Customs and Immigration works if you are travelling on but if the flights are cheap enough why not have a brief pit stop
