Hey Everyone...I would like some advice on this one...

I dive with Poseidon Jetstream regs and love them. I was living overseas when I bought them, and parts etc., were no problem there. I am now living in SE Florida, and diving weekly. Does anyone know a reliable, qualified tech to do an annual service on these regs? Also, I am putting together a DIR rig and I am looking for a source for custom length hoses for these regs as well.

I would sure appreciate any good information that anyone has to offer .

Thanks,

Rick

If you mean a Hogarthian rig, that's cool, I just hope you're prepared for some sticker shock on those hoses.. they run $70-$90 a pop ($95 at ScubaToys before the SB discount). If you mean DIR, you have some thinking to do because Poseidons aren't DIR to begin with.

Sorry, can't help you with the tech thing.

I have a Poseidon tech manual in pdf, just Pm me your email and I'll send it out.

Jonnythan:

BTW, living overseas as I was for the last 7 years, there are pleanty of people in the DIR /tech community who have no problem using Poseidon regs. But. "that's what makes the world go 'round"

thanks,

Rick

Well there's a tech community and then there's a much smaller DIR community. Poseidon regs are very strictly and clearly not DIR.. but if they want to call themselves DIR they're welcome to

PM Bob3 on this board,
I beleive he's in Florida...

well then i guess i am not dir. everything complies except for my poseidon xtreme regulator. and if you asked me one of the best damn regs on the planet. im not just about to change it bec they say its not dir. if that is the price i have to pay then so be it, its no loss to me.
