What is going on? The airport is report ESE winds @ 14mph. Windguru isn't forecasting any north winds the next 10 days. I don't see any reasonPort closed this morning. The winds are from the east....next the new harbourmaster will close it on cloudy days..
Might be rough conditions at the north Marina but south is fine. Flat out front of San Francisco reef this morning at 10 am. Conditions are same in afternoon.View attachment 560674
The diving community on the island should invite her to a sit down info session....educate instead of bitching.I am going to get ahold of the new port captain's personal e-mail as well as an address and I encourage EVERYONE who cares to write letters (in English is fine) about how your vacation was ruined on perfectly flat days.
She is doing crazy crap like opening it when it shouldn't be and closing it when it should be open because she is clearly CLUELESS about how the winds work on the island vs the mainland. She is going to single handedly destroy the water sports industry on the island.
We are literally trying - we keep getting the runaround! The diving community on the island should invite her to a sit down info session....educate instead of bitching.
I'm not there so never know how much stock to put in the internet reports. The airport is reporting light rain and SE wind @ 11mph, but if the local forecast was for worst - maybe I could understand. Those clouds look mighty spooky...
