Okay it did open in the afternoon but I wasn't sitting around waiting. It seems more then that but it wasn't. Like I said before I will take that gamble anytime.Wow. I thought it was a lot more than that.

The end of December had a lot - but January hasn’t been too badWow. I thought it was a lot more than that.
@Alan P it opened at noon. Our divers had already started drinking so they didn’t get out for that reason.
Truth be told, I'd still rather be on Cozumel on a norte day with the port closed than at home in January. Pretty unlikely to have all dive days blown out, and I can always find something fun to do on a Caribbean Island in the middle of winter.
