Wow. I thought it was a lot more than that.
Okay it did open in the afternoon but I wasn't sitting around waiting. It seems more then that but it wasn't. Like I said before I will take that gamble anytime.

The end of December had a lot - but January hasn’t been too bad

@Alan P it opened at noon. Our divers had already started drinking so they didn’t get out for that reason.:shakehead::cheers::shakehead:

That's hilarious. Were they wearing CHUM shirts?

Truth be told, I'd still rather be on Cozumel on a norte day with the port closed than at home in January. Pretty unlikely to have all dive days blown out, and I can always find something fun to do on a Caribbean Island in the middle of winter.

I'm starting to understand - LOL - it just stopped snowing here - AGAIN! But what I am doing is so incredibly rewarding and worth the cold winter slop!

Sure, if I had unlimited vacation days and dollars.

It looks glassy calm today (Fri 1/24 7AM) and windguru looks pretty good for the next several days. I'm curious as to how the HM will react if the prediction for next Friday is accurate; it's for 23/26 kts steady/gusts from the SE. The SE facing Yucatan will be rough but the NW facing Cozumel shore will be flat calm.
