popups?

every time I log onto scuba board, I get about three or four scuba related ebay popups.

Is it something I have done?

You have spyware installed on your computer...install a program like spybot and run it...the problem should be solved...you might also want to install a pop-up killer to reduce the pop-ups when you do hit a legitimate site using them.

I suspect the problem is some sort of spyware or some other unwelcome program on your computer. I have been on this board for years and have never had a single pop-up add. Spybot suggested above is a free download and wiped a bunch of stuff off my computer.

Another good application is Lavasoft Ad-aware. It comes in a free reactive version and a not-free proactive version - both work well. Even the free version gets several updates each week as new tricks are discovered.
