Greetings from NJ!

At 6'2" I've never considered myself freekishly tall...
At 175lbs I've never considered myself freakishly thin...

That is of course until I started shopping for a dry suit!

Now, I know I can go custom of course and may very well have to, but I thought it might be worthwhile to capture the vital statistics of guys who dive with STOCK dive suits.

So, anyone 6' or over who's interested in contributing to the body of knowledge here please reply to this simple query:

Height:
Weight:
Chest:
Waist:

Manufacturer:
Model:
Size:

Thanks in advance - Ray

(Sorry if this has been done before!)

Height: 6'1/2"
Weight: 195
Chest: 42
Waist: 36

Manufacturer: BARE
Model: XCD2 Tech
Size: Large

I was torn between DUI and BARE but none of DUI's stock sizes accomodated my measurements while BARE's large was right on.

Height:6'3"
Weight:215 lbs.
Chest:46
Waist:36

Manufacturer: DUI
Model:TLS 350
Size:2X

I think it is a great fit.

Height: 6'1"
Weight: 170
Chest: 40
Waist: 33

Manufacturer: Bare
Model: XCD2 Tech
Size: Med. Tall

Fits like a custom....

Height: 6'4
Weight: 265
Chest: 51
Waist: 40

Manufacturer: Zeagle
Model: Older and neoprene - bought used
Size: XXL

Fit well, but was a bit too short. Have an XXL CF200 on the way, which looks like it's going to fit perfectly.

I'm only 6', but I have you beat in the skinny department (145-150). I don't understand the obsession with perfectly tailored cusom suits. I use whatever I can get my hands on and as long as it's not too small to zip up I can't really tell the difference underwater.

Height: 6-1
Weight:195
Chest:42
Waist:36

Manufacturer: Bare
Model: Commercial Trilam
Size: XL (M)

If someone paid for a custom suit for me, it would be this one but a bit tighter around the chest. I certainly would not pick up the tab for one.

With most clothing, arm length is usually a problem for me (17x36 shirt). The wrist seals on the Bare cover that for me.

Height: 6' 0" in bare feet
Weight: 220lbs

Manufacturer: DUI
Model: CLx450
Size: Stock XL pretty much a perfect fit

Check with Bare suits , they offer a Med/tall , med/large/tall , they pretty much have the most sizes . Most of the other brands are just catering to the typical american.

I am 6'1" and 189 but I have a longer than average torso. I have a DUI CF200 off the rack. It's a bit short in the torso, but works.

I would - unless you can find a rack suit - go custom. I know that I will next time around.

Look at the Diving Concept suits.
