The only other thing in the area which might work is doing a drift down either Rainbow River as mentioned above or Silver River, i'd still like to do that one day, but after seeing a few rivers lately, i cant see many of them being all that clear - which might also be the case with Royal and Troy as they are just off the Suwannee which seems to have been perpetually silty from the hurricanes of this and last year!!

There is no gear rental at any of the state or federal parks, only places near G'ville or Ginnie/Peacock.
