If I select boolean, what is needed to represent AND, OR, NOT?
Would
padi divemaster
return hits against either term, not require both?
Would
padi & divemaster
require both terms?
Would
padi ! divemaster
return threads with the first word but not the second?

It just isn't leaping out at me -- I'm sure you have it some place that "evryone knows", but not this dummy :)

Don't bother with the limited built-in search functionality. Use the Site Search feature of Google. Boolean AND is, of couse, implicit. Boolean OR would be OR. NOT would be -.

So, at Google you just do a seach with
site:scubaboard.com fins OR flippers Scubapro -Jetfins
