I apologize if this is already posted on here, but this is the one I have been using for the last 18, months, its been very reliable and has good reviews. Price is much better than the old cans and it includes added safety devices that fit in with the PLB.

I keep mine on my waist strap next to the tank, not sure it's been opened for the last 20-30 dives, guess I should check it....I'm using a ACR PLB, been using these for land and sea for the past 15 years.

It's available on Amazon since earlier this year.

This appears to be the same canister and holder as reported earlier in this thread, but this is a bit more expensive.

Okay, thanks for that, I thought I saw it but wasn't sure, but yeah, thats the one I have. I didn't look at the listing so I was comparing an older price I think.

PLB1 is rated for 15m but for how long I don’t know.
Ok, I thought I saw 16 feet on one site, but I can't find it now.

Loooong overdue HVSeatek update: we carried our PLBs on our Mona Island live aboard, and we did grease the o-ring beforehand. This is the first dive we used them on (thanks, covid) since Egypt, I believe. So we’ve had them for roughly 2 years, but less than 40 dives. Anyways, mine did find, but my husband’s still leaked. So his has leaked since we purchased it which is odd. I may reach out to them and see what they recommend.

How much water? I have different canister, it also usually leaks. The PLB I have is water proof to 10ft or so, the little bit of water in there is nothing to worry about.

Hdvseatek. If you used Silicone grease before diving well (removing the o-ring, greasing well, replacing - all carefully), and it still leaked, then I'd suspect a bad or damaged o-ring. He does suggest replacing them yearly, and you had yours for two. He can send them from over there. Their cheaper here in the US, but you have to buy several. See Hdvseatek O-rings identified

The old saying with camera housings which are essentially the same thing is "It's not a matter of If they will leak but When." Fortunately PLBs are water-resistant unlike cameras so getting them a little wet won't hurt.
