Seiko automatics for less than $200 at bluedial.com

I bought three Seikos from Blue Dial and they are a top notch operation. Second day shipping included in the price of the watch and all have factory warranty.

I lost my watch recently (left it laying somewhere I think) and bought a new one from Vagary. It's a little nicer looking than the old one. Someone told me it's Citizen inside but cheaper than my old watch. I paid about 150 US for it. Here's a picture:

St Moritz Momentum, good cheap, quartz watch. Hands difficult to see but a decent inexpensive watch. I had one for a beater, it got torn off in the Gulf and lies at rest in Davey Jone's locker.

Seiko, Orange Monster or it's black face brother are great, rugged, inexpensive automatic movement dive watches.

I just ordered the St Moritz M1 from the link provided. Thanks! It looks like exactly what I was looking for.

Zulu straps are the shiznit. I wouldn't take any of my watches diving without the Zulu straps.

I wear a watch as a backup to my wrist computer, but it's just a cheapie. Just about any of the inexpensive ($30-50) rubberized Timex and Casio watches--mainly designed for runners--claim water resistance to 100 meters, and I've taken my everyday Timex Ironman to 80 or 90 feet many times. So my logic is that, even if it fails, it's cheaper to replace one of these things (which are available at stores everywhere) than buy an expensive "dive watch." The Rolex Sea Dweller, Tag Heuer, Citizen, etc., dive watches may look great when you're out on the town, but I can't think of any compelling reason to own such a watch.
