Can't agree with these generalizations. I'd kill ANY dog in a heartbeat if it was put a persons life in danger. First, Dogs like that at least in Denver will be put down. Second, while I value life, I value human life over that of an attacking dog.
Four Pitbulls killed a little girl, and badly injured two adults attempting to prevent the attack. RU truely interested in taking on those four dogs, plus 6 others?
Your generalizations about people who carry or use guns is rather illogical, and a huge generalization. Cops carry guns, so are they gun slinging morons? In FL after they passed a conceiled carry weapon law, the crime rates did NOT go up, in fact the opposite.
In Colorado the same thing has occured. Many people carry guns, you just may not be aware of it until the time comes when someone prevents a crime who carries that weapon.
People who are irresponsible with Dogs are similar to people who are irresponsible with guns.
I don't agree with the generalizations about breeds like the PitBull, nor do I agree with generalizations about gun owners.
PitBulls, as the point has been made, are NOT a breed. There are at LEAST four breeds of dogs that could fall into the catagory of PitBull, so attempting to Ban PitBulls is like attempting to Ban mean people. Without a better defination, it's pointless, but sure gives our government broad latitude to infringe upon people rights which IMO is the point of these *laws*.

some good points, but if there were no guns to begin with to hide/use/conceil then there wouldbe no gun issue to speak of, I am afraid it's a catch 22
the "moron" comment, and the other so called "generalizations" were not directed at responsible owners of said weapons, rather just like the pitbull issue, towards those that don't know how to control themselves or their behaviour and think that violence is the only solution for a problem that is already out of control for one reason or another, as well other problems plaguing our society
