The lead seems to be available on amazon and eBay. I'm trying to source some from where I'm buying the pencils.

I think I paid $7. for 2 boxes of 6, shipped. A lifetimes worth of lead for me. LOL

Has anyone tried the Rite in the Rain Gravity-Fed Lead Holder? Looks promising to me.
I would be hesitant to buy another Rite in the Rain pencil, they discontinued the one I have but also discontinued the lead as well.
It is standard lead you can get in lots of places.
I like it. Looks good!
