Trying to specifically fit @larsdennert and @robp-kent's
Uwatec/Alladan transmitter to HP hose. 'Think extender should fit an air spool, to make air tight connection between hose and extender. Then Uwatec/Alladan transmitter screwed into extender.

I've emailed XS Scuba to ask if a spool can fit into its male end. I'm not optimistic! It is a port extender, not a SPG extender....

Funny; 'did same.

Answer received. The Port Extender will NOT fit on the end of an HP hose.
"Unfortunately, our HP Extender will not accept a HP spool on the male end. It is designed to thread into a regulator’s HP port only.
The only product we sell that could help you is our HP Hose QD Adapter. You can read about it by clicking here.
It can fit between your UWATEC transmitter and a HP hose. Unfortunately, it is a more expensive item, usually running around $95.00."

'Got exact same response, with the added, "You must know Mel".

Replied, "Fellow Scubaboard member".

I have another of these xmiters on an atomic without issues but vulnerable to breakage without the hose

I have been diving transmitters in sidemount for almost six years now and have never had one snap off. Here in Bali, there are porters (people who carry gear) at the dive sites that unload all your gear and they have never even touched my transmitters.

I keep hearing this "vulnerable to breakage" argument for solid mounting them vs using a hose but I would be interested to hear how many people have actually had one snap off. I know of exactly zero people who have experienced this.
